Impressive three-storied mansion built in 1859. Surrounded by the landscape of mountain Pilio, at the heart of the beautiful Portaria. Known as TSOPOUTOU MANSION, the first building that was built according to the Greek-Egyptian architectural style in Pilio. Trivilo at the entrance, iron balconies, wave shaped eaves, Greek-Egyptian hall, stately rooms with big openings, all submitted to symmetry. At the great hall, the mornings smell of fresh bread, Greek coffee and mountain tea. The sunlight or the snow glance, the soft sofrades (low round tables), the sounds of the flames in the fireplace and the creaks under the footsteps, waken all the senses. The rocks are coloured by the shades of the wines in the cellar, clothed in tunes that accompany the mood. It has a conference hall for 400 people, a sitting room with a fireplace and a hall for the recreation of our little friends.

All the rooms, stately built, with big openings for the sunlight, have great view, big iron balconies, central heating, bathroom/WC with bathtub, hot water all day long, television and telephone. They are capable of covering the needs of even the most demanding customer.

ARHONTIKO DESPOTIKO is located at the beautiful village of Portaria, just 12km away from the town of Volos and a few kilometres away from the ski resort of the Hania village of Pilio.
